WESTSIDE OFFICE PARK

Westside Office Park was an upscale multi use complex located in the sought after Westside area of Houston. Surrounded by some of Houston’s most desirable communities (Williamsburg, Cinco Ranch, Cimarron, and the progressive town of Katy); the Westside development site consisted of 757 acres and was large enough to accommodate an extensive retail center, restaurants, office and distribution facilities, as well as multi-family residential spaces. An Interfin partnership acquired the Westside site in 1995 and developed 82 acres into the Westside Office Park.

Adjoining the site, Interfin developed a Cinemark Tinseltown 19-screen movie theatre, with 4,000 seats and approximately 1,400 parking spaces. The theatre and adjoining land were later sold in 2007.

Interfin contributed portions of this land to a number of notable Westside developments. In 2004, Interfin donated 35 acres to build the Pope John XXIII Catholic High School. In addition, Interfin sold 40 acres to Memorial Hermann Hospital System for the development of a hospital with professional office buildings. In addition, approximately 100 acres were sold to various developers to build an independent living center, offices and a multi-family residential development.

Outstanding design and prominent location create an extraordinary identity for Four Oaks Place. In total, Four Oaks Place encompasses 1.75 million square feet of rentable commercial space. Two 25-story towers, a 30-story central tower, and the 12 story Interfin Building, together with their surrounding plazas, create an expansive office and commercial environment. Developed by Interfin and opened in 1983, Four Oaks Place was designed by distinguished architect Cesar Pelli.

The individual office designs at Four Oaks Place emphasize strong concern for the tenant. Polished granite floors and walls are featured in each lobby of all four buildings. The site centers on a unique spacious plaza with seating amid a serene and lush landscape of seasonal plants and native trees.

A convenient and secure parking facility offering spaces for 4,500 cars is provided in the subtle and efficient design of a contiguous parking garage that is virtually hidden from view. Designed to complement Four Oaks Place, an interior, street-level arcade connected to the garage features restaurants, shops, and banking. Four Oaks Place was sold in 1989.
